What Are Vending Events?
Vending events are classic sell-onsite events, such as festivals, sporting events, and concerts. Your profits for these events will come from sales.
Access new vending leads by logging onto your Roaming Hunger Dashboard. You will arrive at the Catering page by default. Click the Vending tab to access your vending leads.
How do I know I have new leads?
We will notify you by email when you have new vending leads. They will have one of the following subject lines:
- #123456 - Managed Vending Event Request
- Booked by Roaming Hunger
- Sent in real time
- You have new vending event opportunities on Roaming Hunger
- Host Managed
- Sent once per day
"Host Managed" vs. "Booked by Roaming Hunger"
When booking, each event host has the choice to manage their own event or hire Roaming Hunger to do it for them. If they choose to do it on their own, the event is Host Managed. If Roaming Hunger manages it, you will see a Booked by Roaming Hunger label. Most events are Host Managed. This means the event host has posted their information on our site, and they are managing it themselves. What you see is what you get. If chosen, you will coordinate logistics and payment with the host directly. IMPORTANT: Host Managed events do not come with guarantees. Book at your own risk. For events that are Booked by Roaming Hunger, you will be working with one of our Event Coordinators. They will provide logistical support to get you set up at the event for a big day of feeding people. These events may have a booking deposit and/or revenue share requirements. Please review them on the event lead before you apply.

Understanding event statuses
All vending events start off New. As you engage with the platform, they will change status. View which statuses display for you by selecting the Status filter next to New Proposal.
Here is what these statuses mean:
- New - The lead has just posted.
- Viewed - You've seen it but have not applied.
- Waiting on Client - You have applied for the event, but the client has not made a decision.
- Confirmed - The client has confirmed you for their event.
- Declined - You have declined the event.
- Client Declined - The client has chosen another vendor.
- Expired - The 48-hour application window for the event has passed.
