What Is the New Proposal Button?
The default screen on your Dashboard has a big green button labeled + New Proposal. This is a special feature that lets you use our software to manage your own events.
The New Proposal feature allows you to:
- Manage your clients and send them professional event proposals, using your Roaming Hunger packages
- Take advantage of our Catering Protection Plan (get paid even if the client cancels)
- Earn more business leads with Roaming Hunger
Click the green + New Proposal button and filling in the client's contact information.
Next, enter the details of the event: the date, time, number of eaters, budget, and event type.
On the next screen, enter the location of the event. Save the proposal, and it will appear on the Catering page of your Dashboard.
From here, you'll submit a package just as you would for a catering event. Learn how to set up packages here.
Once you've picked a package, customize your price points and account for additional drinks and desserts. Sales tax and fees are automatically added based on your location. Once you've finished customizing your proposal, select Review + Send, and your proposal is on its way to the client.
From here, you'll be able to communicate with your client using the messaging feature built into the Proposal Maker. You'll receive an email notification any time you get a response.
If anything has to be adjusted on this proposal, such as price points or to add drinks or desserts, just click the Price dropdown to make your adjustments and resubmit the proposal to the client.
