Why Was My Document Rejected?

We review uploaded documents several times a day. The best way to get your documents approved the first time is to review our document requirements.

If an uploaded document does not meet our requirements, we will notify you by email.

Common Reasons That Documents Get Rejected

Certificate of Insurance (COI)

  • The policy is expired. If you upload a COI on August 31, but the policy expired on August 29, we will need a renewed document. The expiration date is not measured from date of upload.
  • Missing one of Roaming Hunger's three (3) COI requirements:
    1. COMMERCIAL GENERAL LIABILITY:
      1. $1 million each occurrence
      2. $2 million general aggregate
    2. ADDITIONAL INSURED:
      1. Roaming Hunger, LLC must be endorsed as an additional insured.
    3. CERTIFICATE HOLDER:
      1. Roaming Hunger, LLC
        10951 W Pico Blvd, Ste 300
        Los Angeles, CA 90064

Form W-9 (Tab 3 of your Payment Details section)

  • Most often, these get rejected because the company name entered in Payment Details is not the company name that is registered with the IRS.

Please review your original EIN Verification Letter from the IRS and update all three tabs of your Payment Details with the exact business name printed there. See our guide to W-9s.

If unsure, you may email a scan of your EIN Verification Letter to vendors@roaminghunger.com.

Health Permit

  • The permit is expired. Please check the expiration date before you upload.
  • The document has no expiration date. Unless your city has an exemption for your cuisine type, an expiration or re-inspection date must be clearly shown.
  • Not a permit. The document must have been issued by the Health Department or equivalent government entity.
