How Do I Get Paid for Roaming Hunger Events?
For all catering events booked through Roaming Hunger, and any vending event with a minimum guarantee owed, Roaming Hunger will process your final payment within 7 business days following the event. Not sure how we're paying you? You will need to set up your account to be paid. This guide will show you how.
Introducing: Payment Details
Launched in early 2025, this page of your Dashboard is your hub for getting paid. Powered by Tipalti, this is where you will enter your business address, payment information, and tax forms in order to be paid promptly for events.
You'll find it on your Dashboard's main menu, or by clicking here.

Unlock Your Payment Details
For security purposes, this page utilizes a 2-step verification system. This enables one, and only one, representative from your business to update your Payment Details. Enter your phone number, and you will receive a text message with a one-time access code. Return to Payment Details and enter that code where prompted.

The 4 Tabs of Payment Details
Tab 1: Address
Enter your business name and address here. This will enable us to mail your tax documents at the end of each tax season. You'll be able to complete this as an Individual or a Company (Corporations or LLC). Pay close attention to the Parent Company field. It must exactly match the business name you have registered with the IRS, or you will encounter this error later on: "Does not match name or company name of the beneficiary owner entered in the Address tab."

Tab 2: Payment Method
This is the tab where you will choose how we pay you for events. There are three options to choose from:
- Direct Deposit / ACH (1-2 business days)
- Wire Transfer (1 business day)
- Paper Check (15 business days)
IMPORTANT: Double check the numbers you enter here. Any errors or typos will cause your payment to bounce back to us.

Tab 3: Tax Forms
Here, you will fill out the appropriate tax forms based on your location. US-based businesses will fill out an IRS Form W-9, while all others will fill out a Form W-8BEN (individuals) or W-8BEN-E (corporations). We recommend having your accountant guide you through these steps to ensure your submission gets properly logged. You may also utilize the Tax form questionnaire tool if you're unsure what form to fill out.

As you fill out your tax form, pay close attention to the information you enter, as any mistakes will result in a TIN validation error.
Common Issues Include:
- Entering a different business name here in Tab 3 (Tax Forms) than what you entered in Tab 1 (Address).
- Entering a DBA instead of the exact business name you've registered with the IRS.
- A typo in your TIN.
- Checking a different tax classification from what you've registered. If you are an LLC, verify what type of LLC with your accountant.
NOTE: To protect your privacy, the Roaming Hunger vendor support team cannot independently verify your TIN, registered business name, or tax classification. We can show you where to fix certain issues, but not necessarily the correct information to enter. That must be confirmed with your accountant and/or the original EIN Certificate you received from the IRS.
Tab 4: Done!
Once submitted, your TIN will be scanned within 1 business day. During the pending period, your Payment Details page will say Done. However, if your business name and TIN do not match your IRS registration, you may receive a validation error email and be asked to resubmit.

View Your Payment History
You will know your Payment Details page is really complete when you gain access to a new page on your Dashboard: Payment History. This will show all payments made to you from the date you completed your Payment Details onward. We cannot backdate the payments listed on this page, but we can provide that information upon request.

To match a payment with an event, tap the black arrow to the right of Status. On the new page, under the Invoice subject column, you will see event information formatted like this:
Refer to event date and event number both in comparing with your records and in reaching out for payment support.
