What Are Deposits and Rev Shares for Vending Events?
Vending events labeled Booked by Roaming Hunger are the only events on the platform that may come with a fee. This is to give you access to a larger than normal pool of customers at an event, such as a concert, convention, or sporting event.
Unlike catering events, where the host pre-pays and we pay you, all of your profits will come from onsite sales, so there is a small deposit required to reserve your vending space.
Terms to Know
Deposit
A one-time payment to reserve your vending space at the event. This payment will be coordinated with your Roaming Hunger coordinator and is nonrefundable.
Minimum Guarantee
The minimum amount you should expect to make in sales at this event. NOTE: If your sales fall below the minimum guarantee, your % of net sales will apply to the guarantee amount.
% of Net Sales / Rev Share
A percentage of total sales after taxes exceeding the minimum guarantee. Your deposit has already covered part of this amount.
