Host Managed Events vs. Booked by Roaming Hunger

When you access your Roaming Hunger Dashboard, you will see a list of events with statuses like New, Viewed, Waiting on Client, and Confirmed. Each of those leads will also be labeled Host Managed or Booked by Roaming Hunger. So what's the difference?

• Host Managed: The host is handling the communications and logistics for their own event. Our system is just making the connection.
• Booked by Roaming Hunger: This is our full concierge service where the event is managed by a team of Roaming Hunger agents.

These labels have a few differences when applied to Catering Events versus Vending Events.

Catering Events

Host Managed

• All packages are final once they are submitted. They cannot be edited, only withdrawn.
• If Confirmed, our system will introduce you to the host by email. Their contact information will live on the lead on your Dashboard.
• These events are pre-paid; we will pay you the amount that you have bid. If the host cancels, your payout is still protected by our Catering Services Agreement.
• All overages must be billed directly to the host.

Booked by Roaming Hunger

• Packages may be edited, but it is distasteful to change offerings after they've been shown to the client.
• If Confirmed, you will be assigned an Event Coordinator to answer questions and provide a Run of Show. Their contact information will live on the lead on your Dashboard.
• These events are pre-paid; we will pay you the amount that you have bid. If the host cancels, your payout is still protected by our Catering Services Agreement.
• Contact your Event Coordinator before serving any overages. They must bill the client to ensure you get paid the extra amount.

Vending Events

Host Managed

• IMPORTANT: Treat these leads as though they came in from any other source. If selected for one, you must form a new agreement with the host.
• You must directly hold the host accountable for all posted minimum guarantees. We recommend locking down this arrangement before you show up to their event.
• Roaming Hunger cannot compensate for losses at a Host Managed vending event. We only offer a "Cancel Booking" button on the lead, which you may use at any time.

Booked by Roaming Hunger

• This event is subject to Roaming Hunger's terms and is actively managed by a Roaming Hunger Event Coordinator.
• The posted minimum guarantee has already been confirmed in writing by the host.
• Report your sales to your Event Coordinator to be eligible for minimum guarantee compensation.
• These events may require a booking fee and/or revenue share. Please review the information posted on the lead carefully before applying.
