Can I Withdraw from a Vending Event?

It is possible to cancel or withdraw from a vending event under specific circumstances. Before applying, please read the event details carefully and check your business calendar for any conflicts. The event will post on your profile for 48 hours, so you have time to think about it if there may be a conflict.

Below are some ways to withdraw your application for a vending event:

The event is "Waiting on Client"

Unlike catering events, there is no wait time to withdraw from a vending event if it is Waiting on Client. This is in place if you accidentally apply without meaning to do so.

Immediately after you apply, you will see a red Cancel Booking button on the lead. Clicking it will withdraw you at any time. This cannot be undone, so be sure before you cancel.

Host Managed Events

Since these events are completely managed by the host, you have the flexibility to cancel at any stage. This applies if the host cancels or if the agreement between you and the host changes.

Events Booked by Roaming Hunger

Life can come at you fast. If you must withdraw from a managed vending event for a family emergency, natural disaster, or vehicle breakdown, notify your Event Coordinator as soon as possible. Their contact information is posted on the event lead, as illustrated below.

Penalties for non-emergency cancellation

Once Confirmed for a vending event that's Booked by Roaming Hunger, you have committed to attend and provide service on the listed date(s) and time(s).

If you withdraw from that event seven (7) or less before the event date, for reasons that are not emergencies (itemized in our Vendor Catering Agreement), any fees paid will not be refunded. You may also be subject to a cancellation fee of $200 unless you can arrange a suitable replacement to serve in your place.

As with all booking arrangements, communication is key.
